Akron: 14-Year-Old Arrested In Double Shooting

Akron police have arrested a 14-year-old boy in connection to a double shooting that took place a few days ago.

According to FOX 8, two shooting victims, a 16-year-old female and a 25-year-old male, were taken to a local hospital.

An apparent fight between adults broke out near the 500 block of Ardella Ave on Friday afternoon. Moments later, shots rang, and the two victims suffered gunshot wounds.

During that fight, a 14-year-old boy fired multiple shots at the victims, who were inside a parked vehicle, according to a press release.

The 14-year-old suspect was taken to the Summit County Juvenile Detention facility.

No one has been identified as of today.
