GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Dream on Purpose, a Gainesville-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth aged 11-18, is excited to announce its 7th Annual Cupcakes & Conversations: College Discoveries event. Scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 24, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe College Charles L. Blount Center at 401 NW 6th St, this event serves as an invaluable resource for students preparing for college.
Cupcakes & Conversations: College Discoveries provides middle and high school students, along with their parents or guardians, a unique opportunity to engage with current college students and experts in various fields. Meet current college students, connect with industry experts, and gather crucial information on financial aid, housing, and time and money management skills. With free resource kits and the chance to win fantastic college prep giveaways, this event is designed to help students navigate the often-complex journey toward higher education with confidence.
