San Antonio Firefighters Strike New Deal
San Antonio firefighters are getting raises. The San Antonio Professional Firefighters Association came to terms on a new three-year contract for its rank-and-file with the city over the weekend. Firefighters will see their wages go up over 21% over the length of the contract, including a 7% raise in the first year. City officials say the new contract is going to lead to more budget cuts for the city overall.
SAPD: Ride share driver shot on North Side, passenger was intended victim
SAN ANTONIO (KTSA News) — A ride share driver who was shot in the back of the head early Monday morning is alive but in the hospital in serious condition. San Antonio police say they got the call at around 12:30 a.m. from the 1900 block of Anchor Drive on the city’s North Side.
Man shot in head during altercation at East Side home, police say
SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating after a man was shot in the head at an East Side home late Sunday night. Officers were called around 9:45 p.m. to a home in the 4600 block of Belinda Lee Street, not far from South W.W. White Road and East Houston Street, after receiving word of a person wounded.
