Kimberly Harper, an editor for the Missouri Historical Review, will discuss her new book, “Men of No Reputation: Robert Boatright, the Buckfoot Gang and the Fleecing of Middle America” at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at the library.

Drought continues to fade away in Missouri
Drought conditions in Missouri continue to fade away. The latest drought monitor shows only one small abnormally dry area, covering portions of Newton, Jasper, Barry, and Lawrence counties in the southwest part of the state.
