Capital Region BOCES students return after strong showing at national skills competition
ATLANTA (WRGB) — Two students from upstate New York showcased their skills in barbering and network technology over the weekend at the SkillsUSA national competition. Jacob Alaimo and Liam Pierce, recent graduates from Capital Region BOCES’ Albany Career and Technical Education (CTE) center, went to nationals after their success in the statewide competition earlier this year.
Columbia High School holds graduation ceremony at HVCC
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Columbia High School held their graduation ceremony Saturday at Hudson Valley Community College. 302 students crossed the stage to get their diplomas. The graduates will move on to college, trade school, military service and beyond. The ceremony included the national anthem, senior speakers, student performances and more.
