When your menu only has three things on it, a certain level of confidence is implied. At the Fishguy Market, a minimalist seafood shop in Albany Park , that confidence is justified when it comes to the lobster roll. Available in two sizes, you’ll get Cape Breton lobster chopped to resemble tuna salad, with a hefty dose of celery seed, on a roll that’s barely buttered. It makes for a light-tasting option, where the flavor of the lobster and celery shine through. There’s a similarly structured tuna salad roll that’s heavy on the raw onions, and a simple salmon burger that could use a touch less breading and a touch more grilling. Whatever you get, expect a side of excellent pickled vegetable slaw to brighten things up. And since the Fishguy Market is a seafood store first, takeout lunch option second, be prepared to eat while standing on the sidewalk (there are no seats).
