Celebrate National Hot Dog Day in the Capital Region

ALBANY, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — National Hot Dog Day is set for Wednesday, July 17. Each year, the day is celebrated on the third Wednesday in July.

To celebrate National Hot Dog Day Day, some places around the Capital Region are offering deals. Here’s where you may find a deal, or just a place to enjoy a hot dog, around the Albany area.

Deals

Dog Haus, located at 7 Southside Drive in Clifton Park, is offering Haus Rewards members can get a free Haus Dog per person on July 17. Customers must join the Haus Rewards loyalty program by 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 16 to get the free hot dog.

Cumberland Farms is celebrating National Hot Dog Day all week long. You can find local locations on the Cumberland Farms website . Here’s the Hot Dog Week schedule:

• Tuesday: Buy one hot dog, get one free.
• Wednesday: Buy two hot dogs for $2.
• Thursday: Buy one hot dog, get one free.
• Friday: Free fountain drink when you buy two hot dogs.
• Saturday and Sunday: Buy two hot dogs, get one free.

Love’s Travel Stops is offering a free hot dog or roller grill item to customers on July 17. Customers can access the barcode for their free item on the Love’s Connect App throughout the day on Wednesday. Love’s has a location at 12845 Route 22 in Canaan.

• Hot Dog Charlie’s, 472 5th Avenue in Lansingburgh (only location that will be open on Wednesday)

• Broadway Lunch, 2101 Broadway in Schenectady
• Saratoga Awesome Dogs, 112 Excelsior Avenue in Saratoga Springs
