Albany PD investigate Saturday afternoon shooting near Madison Ave and Trinity Place
Albany Police responded to the area of Madison Avenue and Trinity Place for reports of a shooting on Saturday around 4:45 p.m., leaving one person injured. Police discovered upon arrival that a 27-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his buttocks was self-transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital, where he is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

What people didn’t realize then—or understand even now—is how long and hard the road was to that success. The musical, now gracing the stage at theRep in Albany, N.Y., takes us back to her high school days in 1958, when she was just 16 years old, and showcases her life, her work, and her success as a composer of pop hits from that point on.
NYSP: Albany man arrested for manufacturing ghost guns
The New York State Police (NYSP) and the Special Investigations Unit (SIU) of Albany arrested Rahmeer Nesmith, 21, of Albany on Thursday for manufacturing ghost guns. They conducted a search warrant on Orange Street in Albany on that Thursday, which several guns were found, among other items used for the illegal manufacturing.
