Barre senior’s residence catches fire, no injuries reported
BARRE — A fire broke out at the home of an 81-year-old resident early Thursday morning, with emergency services responding to the incident. At around 7:30 a.m., the Barre Fire Department was called to a structure fire at 113 Hill St. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered smoke and flames emanating from the garage area of Coralee Walters’ home.
Man arrested on multiple charges, including cocaine possession in Lyndon
LYNDON — A Lyndon resident was taken into custody on multiple charges following a report of a fight at a local McDonald’s, Vermont State Police said. 2nd person dies after incident in St. Johnsbury
ST. JOHNSBURY, Vt. (WCAX) - Vermont State Police are investigating after an incident on Cottage Street in St. Johnsbury that left two people dead. Police say the investigation began around 5:50 a.m. Sunday, when St. Johnsbury Police received a report of an altercation inside the home. When officers got there, they found one man dead and several other people with apparent injuries.
