Green County fair kicks off events in Monroe

Mysterious ‘tornado’ prompts sirens to be sounded in Footville, Janesville
JANESVILLE – Janesville and Footville were buzzing Tuesday afternoon about strange funnel cloud spottings. According to police scanner traffic, the Footville Fire Department spotted a funnel cloud shortly after 1 p.m. Then, at approximately 1:43 p.m., an officer reported on the scanner traffic seeing debris near the area of Highway 14 on the east side of Janesville resembling that resulting from a tornado touching down. ...
UW Health adds 2 hospital additions to growing list of projects
UW Health announced upcoming additions to UW Hospital and East Madison Hospital, according to the Wisconsin State Journal. The health system already is opening a large clinic — the Eastpark Medical Center — on the east side of Madison this October, a new west side clinic, and a planned rehabilitation hospital in Fitchburg.

It's time to vote in the primary on Aug. 13. I always vote no matter what I think about our government policies. Many I don't agree with. I wish we had a multi party system like those in the European Union. I heard that France just elected their first woman president. I take time to research who and what I will be voting on by printing out a sample ballot to study.
