    Victim identified, suspects sought in Albemarle fatal shooting: Police

    ALBEMARLE, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Albemarle Police are looking for two teens who’ve been identified as suspects in an early morning homicide on Wednesday.

    Around 10:25 a.m., officers responded to a shooting in the 1400 block of N. 6th Street. When they arrived, they found one person dead at the scene.

    The victim has been identified as 18-year-old Dy’Zavious Izayah Bivens of Albemarle.

    Following the investigation, Albemarle detectives also identified and are searching for two suspects:

    • Damani Jacquez Wall, 18 of Albemarle
    • Jamie Jermaine Mack, 18 of Kannapolis

    Both are wanted for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill/inflicting serious injury.

    The case remains under investigation and additional charges may be pending.
