Vehicle broken into; cash, cigarettes taken and other reports

Police received a report at 2:06 a.m. Tuesday of a vehicle that had been broken into sometime between 12:40 a.m. and the time of the call at 1318 E. Main St. Cash and packs of cigarettes were reported missing from the center console. The car was reportedly unlocked.

Burglary reported

Police received a report of a burglary at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at 608 S. Washington Ave. An individual was missing jewelry, money, medication and other items.

1 arrested on restraining order violation

Police arrested Todd Allen Ferguson, 56, on a harassment restraining order violation at 7:19 p.m. Tuesday at 905 Ulstad Ave.

Hit-and-run reported

Police received a report at 7:51 p.m. Tuesday of a hit-and-run crash at 105 Lake Ave.

1 injured in crash

Deputies responded to a report of a crash involving a Jeep and a bicyclist at 5:39 p.m. Tuesday at 82204 Freeborn County Road 46. Logs stated the male on the bike was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. He was cited for bicycle violation turning and lane usage.

Skateboard reported stolen

Deputies received a report at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday of a skateboard that was stolen at 191 Water St. in Alden.

1 arrested on warrant

Deputies arrested Christopher Robert Cannistraci, 59, on a Dodge County warrant at 7:39 p.m. Tuesday at 275 S. Broadway in Alden.
