Break-in, check forgery and other reports

A break-in was reported at 12:20 p.m. Thursday at 24104 755th Ave. Power tools were stolen. The break-in was believed to have occurred within the last few days.

Police received a report at 10:06 a.m. Thursday of check forgery at 1452 W. Main St.

Sugar reported in gas tank

Police received a report of sugar that had been put into a gas tank at 2:34 p.m. Thursday at 106 S. First Ave. The incident was believed to have happened sometime in the previous two days.

1 arrested for assault

Police arrested Timothy Dennis Crowder, 64, for second-degree assault after receiving a report at 9:42 p.m. Thursday at 326 Court St.
