Walleye Limits To Be Changed On Popular Minnesota Lake
Earlier this year, walleye limits and restrictions were announced on two popular Minnesota Lakes. The restrictions included a three-walleye possession limit, with only one walleye longer than 17 inches allowed, on Upper Red Lake, and a catch-and-release-only policy on Mille Lacs Lake at the beginning of the season and into summer.

MINNEAPOLIS — Senator Bernie Sanders is traveling the country campaigning for Vice President Kamala Harris and progressive candidates. Friday night, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders spoke to an overflow crowd at Minnesota State University Mankato. Saturday Morning, Sanders was at rally for Congresswoman Ilhan Omar in Minneapolis."I think it's going to be a tough race, I think it's going to be close but I think she has an excellent chance to win," said Sanders. Sanders is also campaigning for progressive candidates around the country — including Congresswoman Ilhan Omar. "She is not only someone who has and will take on enormously powerful special interests, she is one of the toughest people I know." Omar faces a rematch of the 2022 August primary which she almost lost to former Minneapolis City Council Member, Don Samuels. This year, it's an Omar Samuels rematch. Omar says that last time she underestimated Samuels and that she is not doing that this year. "We are organizing to make sure that we have victory on the August 13, but not just a victory but that we have a win with a mandate," said Rep. Ilhan Omar.
As Measles cases climb, experts urge shots before schools return
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — As confirmed measles cases continue to climb in Minnesota, public health officials are urging for children to get vaccinated before returning to the classroom this fall. As of Aug 3, Minnesota has 18 confirmed measles cases in 2024 — with multiple coming in the past week. Each case impacted an unvaccinated child under the age of 10, and several kids had to be hospitalized. With documented cases in Anoka, Hennepin, and Ramsey County, public health officials are urging parents to vaccinate their children before the school year starts. Minnesota BCA Issues Alert For Endangered Missing Person
South St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - A statewide Endangered Missing Person Alert has been issued by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. The alert says the South St. Paul Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in finding 31-year-old Adam Joseph Wallin. He was last seen around 10 PM Wednesday leaving his residence on foot.

Valleyfair To Be Included in Massive New Pricing Plan
The parent company that now owns Valleyfair just announced a massive new pricing plan that affects 27 amusement parks across the country, including here in Minnesota. Valleyfair has been Minnesota's lone amusement park for nearly 50 years now, standing tall along Highway 169 in Shakopee since it first opened back in 1976.
