In total, West Virginia returned just 32 catches for 312 yards and 2 scores from the previous year leaving a lot of room for others to emerge.

Fall camp is here, and that means it is time for our annual tradition - updated heights and weights on the WVU football roster. Fall camp is here, and that means it is time for our annual tradition - updated heights and weights on the WVU football roster. EerSports was the first site to take a closer look at this, running this piece for years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years and years. (Yes, you can click each of those links for the older stories to see some of the previous big movers). And now it's time for the 2024 version. Keep in mind a few rules - these are the heights and weights listed on the official WVU Football roster as of this morning, Monday, July 29th (although we may run this a day or two later). For the comparison, the Wayback Machine is no longer pulling from the official roster page, but WVU does separate out their rosters for each season. So, we'll go with what it said in 2023 compared to now. At the end, we'll compare to recruiting profiles and previous stops for the new guys.
Recruiting efforts in-state paying off for West Virginia
Under head coach Neal Brown, West Virginia has been known for keeping the state’s best at home and on the field and it has started to pay dividends. There are a few exceptions since inheriting the football program in January 2019 but for the most part, the program has been able to follow through on the promise he made when he was hired.

The opener will be here before you know it, but don't take preseason camp for granted. What's the soundtrack for musical chairs in the defensive backfield? Traylon Ray did what? All that and more is on the way once you press play. (Direct link: HERE)

WVU fall camp preview: Linebackers
It's about that time again, which is crazy because it feels like just yesterday I was writing the spring camp previews. Back then, football preparation was taking a backseat to the pending basketball coaching search. This time around, fall camp will be in the spotlight of the WVU sports world. Today we continue the position-by-position preview for preseason camp. The Mountaineers went 9-4 last season, including beating up on UNC in a bowl game that ended with Neal Brown being covered in mayonnaise. West Virginia football enters the 2024 season with significant wind in its sails, so fall camp should be particularly interesting to watch next month. At this current time, there is no media access schedule.
