    Suspected Albuquerque burglar to remain in jail until trial

    ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Bernalillo County District Attorney said a suspected serial burglar will remain in custody until trial. On Tuesday, a judge granted a pretrial detention request for Dorsett Matthews who is accused in at least two home burglaries last month.

    Police said in one break-in, he shoved an elderly homeowner to the ground. Prosecutors said he had five prior burglary convictions and was out for less than a year when he was arrested again.
