Security footage shows Vargas confronting a woman after claiming she cut the line in front of him. Vargas can be seen slashing the victim’s tires before getting into a vehicle driven by Legina Velardez that almost runs the victim over as she tries to stop them from leaving. Vargas pleaded down to a lesser charge of two misdemeanors; assault and criminal damage to property. Judge Jennifer Wernersbach sentenced Vargas to one year of probation.
