GILLETTE, Wyo.— Wyoming Game and Fish personnel working near Gillette are reminding drivers in the area to watch for wildlife after a recent increase in wildlife-vehicle collisions on Hilight Road. A press release sent out Tuesday noted that construction on Highway 59 near Wright was bringing more drivers in contact with pronghorn as they take alternate routes.

Deck injection project to close Gurley Overpass July 8
GILLETTE, Wyo. — The overpass on Gurley Avenue will close for annual maintenance in early July, remaining closed for several days, according to the City of Gillette. The closure will allow city contractors to complete an annual deck injection project. It will begin on July 8 from East 4th Street to East Lincoln Street, ending on July 19, per a street closure notice from the City of Gillette.
