The Enchantment knocked out of TBT in first round

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The Enchantment’s run in the 2024 TBT was short lived. The team played its first round game against Once A Bronco (Boise State Alumni) on Friday in Houston, TX and fell 60-53.

The Enchantment fell behind early after a slow offensive performance and found itself down 13 at halftime. Once the third quarter began, Enchantment was able to chip away at Once A Bronco’s lead and cut it to one point. In the fourth quarter, the elam ending target score was set at 60 with The Enchantment trailing by five. The Enchantment only scored six the rest of the way.

Offensively, The Enchantment was led by Morris Udeze with 17 points. Anthony Mathis (12) and Scott Bamforth (11) also reached double figured.

Throughout the game, The Enchantment struggled to shoot. The team finished 20-62 (32.3%) from the field, 6-23 (26.1%) from three-point range and 7-15 (46.7%) from the free throw line.

With the loss, The Enchantment’s time in TBT has come to a close. This marks the team’s second first-round exit in four years.
