    8 people displaced after fire, AFR says

    ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Eight people were forced to leave their homes after a fire on Saturday.

    According to Albuquerque Fire Rescue (AFR), crews were called to a home near Copper and Wyoming just after 9 a.m. for a possible fire. When they arrived, they found the one-story home in flames.

    76-year-old charged for two New Mexico murders

    Crews were able to control the fire in around 10 minutes with the home suffering heavy fire, smoke, and water damage. AFR searched the home and didn’t find anyone inside.

    No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
