Abiquiú Man Pleads Not Guilty, Released from Jail
An Abiquiú man was released from jail a week after pleading not guilty, June 24, in two separate cases of alleged theft that happened two years apart. Gerald Espinoza, 42, is accused of stealing a paint scraper and a small piece of tubing from a shed at the DeVargas Funeral Home in June 2023 and breaking into a storage container in June 2022, ransacking it and trying to saw into a gun locker stored there.
