St. Paul driver hurt in Cerro Gordo County collision
CERRO GORDO COUNTY, Iowa - One person was sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision in North Iowa on Saturday. The Iowa State Patrol says it happened around 9:15 pm near mile marker 192 on Interstate 35. A 2023 Tesla Model X driven by Dina Loginova, 38 of Seattle, Washington, was heading south when it quickly braked to avoid hitting wildlife on the highway. The Tesla was then struck from behind by a 2005 Ford Focus driven by Kyle Haney, 27 of St. Paul.

A smoky haze from Canadian wildfires continues to blanket Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. Air quality has turned poor in parts of the Twin Cities, and along the North Shore around Duluth. If you have chronic heart or lung issues, you should limit time outside Sunday evening. The air quality should improve over eastern Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin tonight into early Monday. However, there could be more poor air quality in those areas Monday afternoon.
Wanamingo Ends Season At State Tournament
The Wanamingo Jacks did not survive their first game at the MBA State Amatuer Baseball Tournament, falling 9-4 today to the St. Boni Saints in Belle Plaine.
