Constables arrest home invasion suspects after traffic stop
HOUSTON, Texas β Deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office arrested three suspects linked to a recent home invasion following a traffic stop on July 17, 2024. The traffic stop occurred in the 13400 block of Greenlow Drive at Rankin Road. The occupants of the vehicle were identified as Demerce Dennis, who had an open warrant for Indecent Assault; Harron Jennings, found in possession of illegal narcotics; and Tommy Armstead, a convicted felon. During the investigation, deputies discovered the vehicle was involved in a home invasion in the Gleannloch Farms neighborhood on July 15, 2024, where four armed males in ski masks entered a residence and robbed the occupants at gunpoint.

Houston police await autopsy results in death of woman found on Tidwell Road
HOUSTON, Texas β Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a 63-year-old woman found at 8435 Tidwell Road on Monday afternoon. The identity and cause of death of the woman are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, according to a press release from the Houston Police Department (HPD). HPD Homicide Division Detectives L. Patterson and N. Henderson reported that HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased person at the address and found the woman unresponsive and covered by multiple blankets. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene.

The murder occurred shortly after the employee opened the gas station located at 6600 Mykawa Rd. in southeastern Houston. The incident was reported at 10:55 a.m., and authorities said the victim was already dead when they arrived at the scene.

HOUSTON, Texas β Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 1211 Gober Street about 6:40 p.m. on Wednesday. The identity of the 31-year-old woman is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. According to Houston Police Department (HPD) Homicide Division Detectives M. Althaus and P. Michon, HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased person at the residence and met with a witness. Three people are facing charges of injury to the elderly for allegedly beating a 70-year-old man in Harris County.Court documents allege Darian Ellis, 18; Kaydriana Webbs, 17; and Kaytlin Sandoval, 22, dragged the victim out of his vehicle after a crash and punched him multiple times on Sunday, July 14. The victim's condition was not immediately clear.During a probable cause court hearing, a Harris County judge set $10,000 bonds for both Ellis and Webbs. Fatal crash in Houston leaves two dead after high-speed collision
HOUSTON, Texas β Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 4900 Crane Street about 4:10 p.m. on Wednesday. The identities of the deceased males, both 44 years old, are pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. According to the Houston Police Department's Vehicular Crimes Division, Sergeant P. Lee and Officer N. Luu reported that the driver of a silver Ford Crown Victoria was traveling eastbound on Crane Street when he lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway, and struck a parked black Dodge Challenger. Both the driver and passenger were pronounced dead at the scene by responding Houston Fire Department paramedics.

Witnesses barricade themselves in bedroom after seeing 2 people shot at Midtown apartment
HOUSTON β Authorities are piecing together a double shooting overnight Thursday at an apartment in Midtown. It happened a little before 12:15 a.m. at an apartment complex in the 1600 block of W. Dallas St. off Allen Pkwy. Thatβs where Lt. Ronnie Willkens, with the Houston Police Department, said they found two gunshot victims.
