APD search for escaped Longleaf Hospital patient
ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - The Alexandria Police Department reported that a patient escaped from Longleaf Hospital on Friday, August 23. APD arrived at the psychiatric hospital at around 6:15 p.m. on Friday and learned that Styln Wise, 21, had escaped from the hospital and was last seen in the area of Versailles Blvd.

He said he has been around 50 people with the Louisiana delegation but has been able to speak to other politicians as well. They include former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson.

Alexandria hosts Party in the Park event
The City of Alexandria, Louisiana is hosting the "Party in the Park" event at Cheatham Park on Saturday, August 24 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Two-state car chase ends in White Oak
A car chase roared out of Louisiana, across East Texas and into White Oak Saturday night before the armed the driver crashed out at a local oil change business. According to an Aug. 18 press release from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, 28-year-old Saleful Sangaray was ultimately arrested after fleeing his wrecked vehicle on foot. He now faces multiple felony charges after investigators reported drugs, a handgun and an AK-47 in the vehicle.
Superdome renovations done; NFL pleased with upgrades
