Aho Sets Course Record in Hairpin 5k
Jack Aho of Chicago set a new course record at the July 4th Hairpin Run in Fish Creek. Aho, 25, finished the race in 14:30, a 4:40 per mile pace. A total of 1,203 runners took part in this year’s event, the largest 5k in Door County. The event raises about $20,000 each year to support Friends of Gibraltar’s efforts to bring enrichment programs to Door County students.
