Allison City Council discusses a new phone system
This week the Allison City Council discussed new phones for the city that would include the public library, swimming pool, and fire department. There have been several issues with the phones at Allison City Hall where calls have not been coming in or the callers are getting a message that the line has been disconnected.
Ackley City Council held a special meeting Wednesday
Wednesday night the Ackley City Council held a special meeting and was presented with the Emergency Medical Services Agreement and Lease with the City of Eldora. After discussion on a few items like older equipment, the Ackley City Council authorized the mayor to enter into the Emergency Medical Services Agreement and Lease between the Ackley Volunteer Ambulance Service and Eldora EMS.
