Waste plant asks to borrow $1.5M for shredder, material handler
The manager of Barron County's Waste to Energy plant appeared at Monday morning's Executive Committee meeting with a request to borrow $1.5 million through the State Trust Fund, at 6% for 10 years, to establish a new revenue stream at the incinerator south of Almena. Peterson to speak on famed battle at Genealogical Society
The Blue Hills Genealogical Society welcomes Don Peterson of Barron as the guest speaker at its July 8 meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Barron Senior Center, 12 N.
