Power isn’t everything, but it has been a primary seasonal objective for Ryan Tyranski. Named first-team all-state for his senior season this past spring with Division 1 state runner-up Birmingham Brother Rice, Tyranski is playing his summer ball with the Northwoods League’s Royal Oak Leprechauns. There, the first baseman had aspirations of both adjusting to the next level and driving the ball farther before heading off to Cincinnati this fall.

Michigan residents are facing a surge in gas prices, with a recent increase averaging 10 cents from the previous week. The current price for regular unleaded gasoline is now $3.68 per gallon, a notable uptick of 14 cents compared to last month and an additional 17 cents from the same period in 2023. This price adjustment means that filling a standard 15-gallon tank now averages around $55, providing a slight economic reprieve of approximately $3 when compared to the peak prices experienced in August of last year. These figures were released by AAA-The Auto Club Group, as The Detroit News reported.

WARREN, Mich. (FOX 2) - Thieves made off with around 10 Wagoneers from the Warren Stamping Plant early Monday. A group of thieves, possibly juveniles, smashed the fence at the plant with another vehicle at about 3 a.m. and made off with numerous vehicles. Two Wagoneers were recovered, police said.

Friday Shooting In Burton Leaves Man Dead
A 47-year-old man was shot and killed in Burton last Friday. Police say the incident happened at the Ten Eleven Food Store at 3280 Lippincott Boulevard shortly after noon.
