The Reason Your Garbage May Not Have Been Picked Up In Aledo
Many residents in Aledo are finding their trash hasn’t been picked up. Aledo City Administrator Mike Chausse explains why. “There are a couple reasons. One, they need to have it in an approved container. Either an LRS or a Jackson container. The Jackson containers are still good. So that’s the first thing. The 2nd thing is they might have put it too close to a telephone pole or maybe a fence, or maybe even another can. That’s another reason that’s because they have to grab it and they couldn’t grab it or they just put a bag out and they won’t take bags out on the street, which is actually against city ordinance anyway. Well, if they were passed over today or tomorrow on the South side of town, then they’ll probably have to wait a week and get it picked up again.
