ARTHUR, Ill. — Those who love quilting and traveling can take part in Shop Hop, an annual event that promotes visiting participating shops throughout the Midwest. There’s an All-Illinois Shop Hop in August and September with up to 71 participating shops. Brownstown Man Dies In Single Vehicle Accident
A Brownstown man died Friday morning in a single vehicle accident. Fayette County Coroner Dave Harris reports there was a single vehicle accident on County Road 1625 south of Brownstown early Friday. Harris says a truck driven by David E. Drum of Brownstown left the roadway and hit a tree. Harris reports he pronounced Drum dead at the scene at 4am.
