Former Georgia high school football MVP shot to death at hotel
BRASELTON, Ga. — A former Georgia high school football standout was found shot to death in a hotel room on the evening of Sunday, July 7. The Braselton Police Department said officers were dispatched at 5:15 p.m. to The LaQuinta Inn & Suites at 200 Kaival Lane in Braselton, Jackson County, Georgia. When officers arrived, they said they found a man in a hotel room with a gunshot wound to his head.
Marburger Farm Antique Show arrives in Atlanta this week
ATLANTA - The renowned Marburger Farm Antique Show, a favorite among interior designers, collectors, and culture enthusiasts since 1997, is set to host its first event outside of Round Top, Texas. The flagship restaurant is located in Downtown Atlanta, off Forsyth Street NW. Big Dave's Cheesesteaks was founded by West Philadelphia native Derrick Hayes, who named the restaurant chain after his late father. Hayes opened the first location in a 700-square-foot Shell gas station in Dunwoody, Georgia.
