N.H. Fish and Game received a report Saturday, June 29, around 6 p.m. about a hiker in distress at Mt. Major. Much like the hapless Velma on “Scooby-Doo,” a Massachusetts woman found herself in an unfortunate predicament this past weekend after she lost her glasses and couldn’t find her way down Mt. Major in Alton Bay, New Hampshire.
Tyler Troy files intent to plead guilty in fatal 2022 Thanksgiving crash
PORTSMOUTH — Tyler Troy has filed his intent to plead guilty to negligent homicide and seven other felonies in connection to the deadly 2022 Thanksgiving crash that killed 21-year-old Barrington resident Drew Ceppetelli and injured four other passengers. Troy, a Northwood resident, is now headed to criminal mediation starting July 15, his 24th birthday, as the defense and prosecution attempt to reach an agreement in the case. Laconia police seek help locating runaway teen
LACONIA — Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 13-year-old male runaway who was last seen Thursday afternoon. The teen, identified as Bradley Robinson, jumped out of a vehicle around 2:54 p.m. on June 29 while it was stopped at a traffic light at the intersection of Parade Road and Elm Street, according to the Laconia Police Department.
