Texas college to add dental hygiene program through $1M grant
South Texas College in McAllen is developing an associate of applied science in dental hygiene program, funded by a $1 million grant. In addition to the dental hygiene program, the funding will also be used to create a workforce development and continuing education center for healthcare professionals at one of the college's buildings, according to a July 11 news release from the school.
