    1 injured in Alton, authorities cite ‘deadly conduct’

    ALTON, Texas (ValleyCentral) — A man is hospitalized due to “deadly conduct” in Alton, authorities say.

    At 5:20 p.m. Sunday, Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a report of deadly conduct in the 1300 block of Kansas Street in Alton.

    When they arrived to the scene they found a Hispanic man with non-life-threatening injuries to his leg.

    Authorities also found a vehicle with multiple bullet holes.

    Two men who are suspects in the case have been detained for questioning in connection with the incident.

    The injured man was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.
