OUC recently hosted an engaging Youth Energy Academy, offering local students a hands-on experience to explore careers in the utility industry. Around 65 students from Osceola, Orange, Seminole, and Lake counties participated in interactive learning sessions at OUC’s Conway Water Treatment Plant. Officers responded to Spin City Laundry, located at 1321 S. 14th Street, regarding a trespass warning request around 2:49 a.m. Monday, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.
Walmart employee allegedly steals fishing reel and generator from store
A Leesburg man working as a Walmart employee was arrested for stealing from the store on three occasions using the self-checkout lines. Officers responded to Walmart, located at 17030 U.S. Hwy. 441, regarding an employee shoplifting around 1:43 p.m. Tuesday, according to an arrest report from the Mount Dora Police Department.
