ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — Multiple people were arrested over the weekend when police were called about a gun being pulled on two women.

Brad Denny, 35, of Altoona, Brittany Miller, 27, of Tyrone, and Kendrin Chambers, 29, of Pittsburgh, were all charged in the altercation. Court documents show that 31-year-old Brooke Lake was also arrested for being found with 31 packets of suspected fentanyl while Altoona police were dealing with the other three.

Police said they were dispatched around 10:50 a.m. July 20 for a weapons call on the 600 block of 12th Street in the city. According to charges filed, two victims claimed that Denny, Miller and Chambers were involved in the altercation with a gun.

It was alleged by the victims that Denny pulled a gun during an argument over marijuana and pointed it in a woman’s face, saying: “I’ve got something for you,” the criminal complaint reads. There was a scuffle before 911 was called.

Police said a witness corroborated much of the victim’s account, saying when they saw the gun, they shut their door and walked away.

Denny was known to Altoona police over another investigation, they noted. Upon arriving at his known residence, a woman let police in to look for him. According to the complaint, Denny came downstairs and was taken into custody. Police then searched for Miller and Chambers, saying Miller was found behind a door that had a “restricted access” sign. Police said in the complaint that she had foil in one hand, a lighter in the other and a straw in her mouth and refused to drop them.

After finding Miller, police said they found Chambers balled up in the corner. According to charges, Chambers lifted his head and had a white residue around his mouth.

While dealing with the three, police said that Lake arrived at the residence. Police noted she was Denny’s paramour and lived in the room with all the makeshift smoking devices they found. According to the complaint, a search of Lake found 31 packets of suspected fentanyl, pressed pills, baggies of suspected methamphetamine, and another baggie with suspected fentanyl stamped “get more.”

Denny was charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault, and two drug possessions charges as well as misdemeanor simple assault charges along with terroristic threats. He was placed in Blair County Prison with bail set at $300,000.
