Strange Sun Country Flight is Now in Danger of Going Extinct
It was one of the shortest-- and cheapest-- flights out of Minnesota that Sun Country Airlines ever offered. But it might be soon a thing of the past. It was nearly two years ago that Sun Country Airlines, Minnesota's hometown airline, announced that it was adding service from the Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (MSP) to Chippewa Valley Regional Airport in Eau Claire, Wisconsin (EAU). Those flights ran a whopping 21 minutes, a distance of just 85 miles, and were part of a $6.5 million annual grant meant to improve travel in rural America.

Beer Alert: New East Meets West-Coast India Pale Ales
Summer is ON and American craft brewers are addressing things with a smart roster of new IPAs you’re gonna want to have around. Beastly (Petaluma, CA) – Lagunitas Brewing has anew year-round addition that elegantly melds the best aspects of both the Hazy IPA and West Coast India Pale Ale beer styles. Brewed with not just a hint of orange-ness, but a whole orange, Lagunitas The Beast of Both Worlds is a hefty 8% ABV “Bi-Coastal IPA” with undertones of mango and pineapple that are offset by a West Coast dankness. Double dry-hopped with a fruity blast of Citra & Mosaic, this beast of a beer finishes super smooth.

Fair Food Contest Winners & Where to Get a Taste of ’Em
The highlight of this year’s Northern Wisconsin State Fair (which ran July 10-14) depends on who you ask, but some common answers are likely Ludacris, Charlie Berens, and the food. The latter was mine (oh, and getting an Eevee stuffed animal). If you missed this year’s shindig, you would’ve also missed some kick-ass food, including the winners of the Favorite Fair Food Contest.
