Former School Employee Arrested in 23-Year-Old Cold Case of 'Angel Baby Doe'
JOHNSON COUNTY, Texas — A former school employee has been arrested in connection with the death of a newborn found on the side of a road over two decades ago. In November 2001, the remains of an unidentified newborn, later named "Angel Baby Doe," were discovered between the towns of Alvarado and Burleson. The infant was found wrapped in a jacket with the umbilical cord still attached, according to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office. The child was determined to be a female who had been born alive and had recently died.

AUSTIN, Texas — A Texas 10 Most Wanted sex offender is back in custody following his recent arrest in Wyoming, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). Authorities arrested Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender Ramiro Manuel Dominguez, 35, on June 27 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Dominguez, who was DPS Featured Fugitive in June 2024, was apprehended after DPS Special Agents from Lubbock coordinated with officers from the Cheyenne Police Department, following a tip received last month. A Crime Stoppers reward will be paid for his arrest.
