KENNEDALE, Texas — The Kennedale Police Department has issued a warning about a phone scam in which individuals are posing as police officers and demanding money. According to a press release from the department, a complaint was received over the weekend about a person identifying themselves as a "Sergeant with the Kennedale Police Department" who called and asked for money to pay off a "warrant." The department emphasized that it does not call individuals to demand or ask for payment, which is handled through the Municipal Court and not over the phone.

North Texas landed its fifth recruitment for the 2025 class as Jaden Manning, a versatile threat from Mansfield Legacy (Texas), announced his decision to join the Mean Green.
