Louisville Man Charged With Murder After Fight
A 31-year-old man accused of killing another man during a fight in Louisville’s Russell neighborhood pleaded not guilty in court Thursday morning. Alonzo Thomas is charged with the murder of Thaddeus Miller after they got into a fight in a parking lot on West Chestnut Street. According to the arrest citation, Thomas believed Miller had taken his gun from his girlfriend, who was trying to keep the gun away from Thomas.

WKU’s Project ELEVATE receives $1.3 million for principal apprenticeship program
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — The College of Education & Behavioral Sciences at WKU has been awarded $1,323,733 to support K-12 principal apprenticeship through Project ELEVATE (Educational Leadership Experience and Visionary Apprenticeship for Transformative Excellence). Led by Dr. Margie DeSander and Mr. Rob Akers, this initiative marks the first registered principal apprenticeship in Kentucky.
