Erie Codgers Senior Softball League Kicks Off 2024 Season
The Erie Codgers, a senior softball group had it's first game of the their Fall League on Thursday night. The group is for those 50 years old and older. They started off with the National Anthem, then got into their double header. Each Tuesday and Thursday they play two games.
Burn outs, hot rods and live music rock NFI Empire annual car show
Spectators enjoyed an abundance of makes and models of classic cars and antique vehicles on Saturday, Aug. 10 at NFI Empire in North East. The south parking lot was rumbling with the sounds of revving engines and live rock and roll music from Jake’s Blues. Food trucks were on-site. There was even a chance to win a 1983 Chevrolet Silverado K10 pickup truck.

Buffalo Bills waive former Pittsburgh Steelers second-round pick after injury
The Buffalo Bills have released former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool from injured reserve with an injury settlement on Thursday. Claypool suffered the injury and was placed on injured reserve right away. In order to return to Buffalo, Claypool will have to wait out the time of his injury settlement and an additional three weeks, but he is now a free agent and can sign wherever he wishes.
