Paden City High's fate hangs in balance at crowded courthouse hearing
WETZEL COUNTY, WV — A hearing took place at the Wetzel County Courthouse on Thursday to determine whether Paden City High School should close for the upcoming school year. A large crowd turned out for the hearing, many wearing green and white. Plaintiffs spoke against the closure of the school and expressed frustrations with Wetzel County Superintendent Cassandra Porter, who made the decision to close it.
