    Author Q&A

Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?

Yes. It’s about understanding that everyone experiences loss and it's okay to feel scared or sad. It’s a journey we all share, so you’re never alone.

Is there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?

The trickiest part is striking a balance—writing about dark, educational themes in a way that's suitable for kids without alarming their parents too much.

What inspired you to write your book?

This book was born from my own grief—losing my dad to cancer unexpectedly. It was my way of coping, turning sorrow into something that might help others feel less alone.

Do you write an outline before every book you write?

Nope! I dive right in and let the creativity take the lead. It's always a surprise to see where the story goes.

How can readers discover more about you and you work?

They can find me on social media at @UniquelyMorbid, or check out my website www.uniquelymorbid.com for the latest updates!

What is your preferred font to write in?

I stick with Calibri, the Word default. It's clean and straightforward, perfect for letting the ideas flow.

Who is the most supportive person in your life when it comes to your writing?

My mom, hands down. She's been my cheerleader from day one. Sometimes, I think she's even more thrilled about my self-publishing journey than I am!
