    Can you share a little of your current work with us?

    The book The Power of Your Spine, How Back Strength and Posture Pilots the Entire Body is filled with knowledge of the muscles of the spine and the back and where these muscles attach. I share what movements in the body they participate in and much more. This book can help others to not get back pain and/or injuries or help them to learn more when they do have pain and/or injuries.

    Often we can go to doctors and therapist, and we are given a piece of paper with exercises to do with no understanding muscles. Each exercise helps. Within all my books I share that knowledge is power. I always stand by what my first college professor told me and the class the first day in my Exercise Specialist program. He said to always know why you are doing an exercise and always know why you are having a client do an exercise. It is essential. This book The Power of Your Spine can be brought to doctors and therapists to help communicate between the patient/client and professional. The illustrations help communicate the muscles very well.

    How did you come up with the title?

    I made up this title The Power of Your Spine, How Back Strength and Posture Pilots the Entire Body, because of the truth behind it. The book is filled with many colored muscle illustrations to help the reader easily see what is being taught. The spine and back leads and plays essential roles in movements of the limbs and helps pilot the entire body.

    What genre do you consider your book(s)? What is your favorite genre to write?

    My books are usually non-fiction, because I share knowledge of the human body, muscles, hearing loss, anatomy, and health to help others. At this point even my two children’s books are based on real life and facts. I don’t make anything up, so that is the only reason I would have to say non-fiction is what I have considered my genre.

    I would like to make up a story and create a fun fiction book one day, but as silly as it may sound (I laugh when I write this), I feel like I would be lying to write something that is not true.

    Do you ever experience writer's block?

    I usually don’t. Is I am sharing knowledge and not making up something to write.

    Do you feel like you’d be a better writer if you wore sparkly socks during your writing sessions?

    This is a funny question, not just because you asked about sparkly socks, but I must be barefoot. For some reason when I sit down to write whatever I have on, socks or shoes, or sandals, I instantly take them off. And, if you wanted to know why, I could only say it must be a comfort thing, I really don’ t know. Its just me.
