Police said 16 bronze horse statues and a vehicle were stolen recently from the American Quarter Horse Association, and they are seeking the community's help with the case.

In this week's Amarillo Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week, authorities are looking for a vehicle and suspect on a reported burglary that took place Friday morning.

On June 28 just after 8 a.m., Amarillo officers were sent to the American Quarter Horse Association on reports of a burglary. Officers found that an unknown male suspect had forced entry into a metal building on the property. Police said the suspect stole the 16 statues, as well as a white 2021 Ford F-350 dually pickup, which had a Texas license of AQHA2.

Anyone who may have information on this crime or the suspect is urged to call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-374-4400. An anonymous tip that leads to an arrest could earn a reward up to $1,000. Tips can also be submitted by visiting amapolice.org or by using the P3 Tips App. Remember to "Say It Here" with Amarillo Crime Stoppers.
