City of Amarillo facilities, John Stiff Memorial Park adjust hours for July 5

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The City of Amarillo announced adjusted hours for Friday July 5 for city facilities and John Stiff Memorial Park.

The following COA facilities will have adjusted hours on Friday for the Independence Day +1 Event:

• The Southwest Branch Library will close at noon.
• Amarillo National Tennis Center will close at noon.
• Southwest Pool will be closed.
• The McDonald Lake parking lot and the area surrounding McDonald Lake, including the bike trails, will close beginning at 5 a.m.
• John Stiff Memorial Park will close beginning at 5 a.m.

The Independence Day +1 event is a free fireworks and drone show at John Stiff Memorial Park said city officials.
