AMENIA, ND ( KXNET ) — A 54-year-old man from Arthur was injured, and will soon be facing charges after a rollover crash in Amenia July 13 in Cass County.

According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, at about 8:54 p.m., a Dodge Ram was traveling north on Highway 18 just before the intersection of 26th Street Southeast when it left the roadway, entered the east ditch, and vaulted.

Upon landing on the north side of the street, the Ram rolled before coming to final rest on the driver’s side. The driver was trapped in the vehicle as a result, causing the Casselton Fire Department to cut off its roof to remove him.

The driver sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash, and was transported to Sanford Hospital for treatment. He is currently being charged with Driving under the Influence and Refusing a DUI test.

    The crash remains under investigation.
