Glen Ellen Woman to be Sentenced in July for Fatal Crash in Santa Rosa
A Glen Ellen woman is expected to be sentenced next month after reaching a plea deal in a fatal head-on collision that killed a Santa Rosa woman in May. Serina Rogers pleaded no contest on June 18th to multiple counts in Sonoma County Superior Court in Santa Rosa, where she is charged in the fatal crash that occurred along Guerneville Road. The 35-year-old Rogers is scheduled to be sentenced July 22 by Sonoma County Judge Troye Shaffer. According to the terms of her plea deal, she could be sentenced to as much as 11 years in prison.

Man arrested after Canesa deli owner stabbed outside Clayton shop
CLAYTON, CA (June 29, 2024) – John Canesa is recovering after being stabbed outside of his downtown deli about 1 p.m. June 25. According to his wife Priscilla, Canesa was stabbed six times outside Canesa’s Brooklyn Heroes in the Town Center at Oak and Main St. When police arrived, they arrested 45-year-old Peter Kerns of Concord. Emergency services transported a lucid Canesa to John Muir Medical Center.
