Her career continued with notable performances, including her role as Mrs. Ntshinga in "Home Affairs" and as a prominent figure in the drama series "Rhythm City" from 2007 to 2015.

    Her role as Zawavari in Marvel's "Black Panther" in 2018, and its sequel "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," earned her international recognition.

    Chiume also appeared in South Africa's "The Housekeepers" from 2018 to 2022 and recently featured in "Soon Comes Night" and "Heart of the Hunter." She was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the South African Film and Television Awards in 2022.
