Powerball winning numbers for August 7 drawing: Jackpot at $201 million

The Powerball jackpot has surged to an impressive $201 million for the upcoming Saturday drawing, following no top prize winners in Wednesday night’s drawing.

Should someone hit the jackpot on Saturday, they can opt for a lump-sum cash payment of approximately $100 million, based on the lottery’s current estimates.

The winning numbers for Wednesday, August 7th, were drawn just after 11 p.m. ET. The numbers are 6, 19, 35, 47, and 57, with the Powerball being 9 and the Power Play multiplier set at 3X.

No jackpot winners emerged from Wednesday’s draw, nor were any Match 5 + Power Play $2 million winners or Match 5 $1 million winners.

How to Play Powerball

To enter the Powerball, purchase a $2 ticket from local convenience stores, gas stations, or grocery stores. In some states, you can also buy tickets online.

Players must select six numbers: five white balls ranging from 1 to 69 and one red Powerball number between 1 and 26. For an extra $1, you can add the “Power Play” option to potentially multiply non-jackpot winnings by 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or even 10X.

If you prefer not to choose your numbers, you can ask for a "Quick Pick," where a cashier will generate a random set of numbers for you.

Drawings occur three times a week—on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights. If there’s no jackpot winner, the prize pool grows significantly.
